Hennepin County, Minnesota

Hennepin County is the most populated county in Minnesota, containing many large cities. The seat and largest city is Minneapolis.

It is named for Father Louis Hennepin, an early explorer. It borders Carver, Wright, Ramsey, Sherburne, Anoka, and Scott Counties.

Main highways include I-35W, I-94, I-394, I-494, I-694, US-12, US-169, USW-212, MN-55, MN-62, MN-100 and County 81.
